Fuheis American Association-Chicago
The name of this association shall be "The Fuheis American Association". It derives its name from the city of Fuheis, Jordan, the home town or ancestral town of most of the members of this association. The association shall be chartered in the State of Illinois, and its registered office shall be in Chicago, County of Cook, Illinois. It shall be a non-profit, social, educational and charitable organization. The aims and purpose for which the Association is formed are as follows.
To pledge allegiance and honor the Constitution of the United States of America
To pledge to be good abiding citizens, to respect and honor the laws of the State of Illinois, and the federal laws of the land
To support and participate in civic functions of the City of Chicago and surrounding suburbs
To bring about closer ties between Fuheis people in the Metropolitan are of Chicago, Illinois and the Fuheis people elsewhere
To orient the American Public with the culture and heritage of the Arabs, and establish better understanding of the Arabs by the American people
To seek ways to establish and bring about closer ties between the Fuheis community in Illinois and other Arab communities in Illinois
The ways and means used may be selected and objectives may be pursued by the Executive Committee. Gather all members of the Fuheis community in the U.S.A. under one umbrella with the best exposure to other communities. Maintain the Jordanian heritage, culture and customs among all members of the community in general and the Jordanian-American children mainly about the motherland, Fuheis, Jordan, and to create a network through this Association for our children to have a better communication among each other through seminars, parties and social gathering. Assist newly arrived immigrants from Fuheis, Jordan in the assimilation process into the American lifestyle. Act as liaison between the Fuheis community and other community organizations in the State of Illinois. In general, to do what it deems best for the general welfare and interest of the Fuheis people of Metropolitan area of Chicago, Illinois and elsewhere.

كرمت رابطة أهالي الفحيص/ شيكاغو كوكبة من أبنائها وبناتها من خريجي الجامعات والكليات والمدارس وقد أقامت اللجنة الاجتماعية حفل بسيط على شرف الخريجين
The event is the 2008 Graduation & Father's Day Event that took place at the Orland Chateau in Orland Park, IL.
FAA presidents for being present: Hanna Akkawi, Nabil Nemeh, Raed Sweiss, Baha Swaiss & Maher Farahat.
We were given a list of graduate names both present and absent.
The list reads:Eighth Grade Graduates: Ramzi Abudayeh, Randy Haddad, Rania Samawi, Chantelle Al Farah, Albert Sweiss, Amanda Sweis, Luma Ammari & Diane Sweis.
Highschool Graduates: Reneh Abudayeh, Munier Haddad, Christine Deek, Renee Sweis, Adam Sweis, Raed Sweis, Sarina Sweis, Liana Akkawi, Shady Salman, Sally Sweis, Alvera Sweis.
Tena Al Farah received an Associate Degree in Arts & Criminal Justice.
Faris Mukhlis Ziadat received an Associate Degree in Arts
Auddie Sweis received a Bachelors Degree in Biology with a Minor in Arabic from the University of Chicago.
Wendy Zedan received a Bachelors Degree in Michigan.
Jehan Mady received a Master's Degree in Business Management from Saint Xavier University.
Hanada Zraiqat received her Masters in Elementary Education from Saint Xavier University.
Rolla Khouri received her Masters Degree in Business.
